Attorney Practice Time Report requires attorneys to report percentages of time spent on indigent defense work for adult criminal, juvenile delinquency, and family protection representation for each county by October 15th every year.

Attorney Detail Report requires auditors to report the number of cases paid and attorney fees paid for each attorney for adult criminal and juvenile delinquency cases by case type in the Indigent Defense Expenditure Reports (IDER). IDERs are due by November 1st every year.

Indigent Defense Expenditure Reports (IDER) are annual reports submitted by county auditors and financial officers that includes expenditures, case and appointment counts, and attorney information for each court with adult criminal, juvenile delinquency, and family protection representation cases and appointments. IDERs are due by November 1st every year.

Indigent Defense Plans (ID Plan)/Judicial Plans are the countywide judicial plans and procedures for indigent defense. The plans describe counties policies and procedures for magistration, indigence determination, attorney qualifications, appointment of counsel, attorney fee schedules, and more. Counties often have more than one plan to address different areas of law (adult criminal, juvenile delinquency, family protection representation) and different court levels (county court, district court). Indigent defense plans are submitted by the local judges and are due by November 1st of each odd-numbered year.
